Muc-off takes a tour of Troy Lee Designs

Muc-Off checks out Troy lee Designs Headquarters: On my way home from Glen Helen, David Pingree of Troy Lee Designs called me and told me to drop some more Muc-Off off for the team. Having my camera handy I pinned it down to the TLD Headquarters based in Corona CA - so here are some cool shots of what they’ve got down there, enjoy.

first cool thing I saw was the Custom Fender Guitars that are being made into Trophies for the Glen Helen National happening May 23.

Here is a shot of the paint shop, this is where all the custom paint jobs happen…

Rizla Suzuki MotoGP began on a positive note during the first day of testing for this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix in Motegi.

Chris Vermeulen led the way for the team with the fourth fastest time of the day, as he recorded a best lap of 1’49.382 from his 17-laps around the 4,801m Motegi circuit. Vermeulen got through a large amount of work with his crew - despite the session only being 45-minutes long - and was able to complete three good runs that supplied him, and the Suzuki Technicians, with valuable data as they prepare for this Sunday’s race.

Loris Capirossi was narrowly behind his team-mate as he clocked a quickest time of 1’49.980 from his 19 laps, to give him sixth place overall. Capirossi was pleased with the day’s work, but is convinced…

It was a severe, rich and enjoyable case of Turkish delight for the British Utag Yamaha.com team at Hezarfen, Istanbul for the third Grand Prix of the 2009 FIM Motocross World Champion as Zach Osborne became the first ever American winner of an MX2 GP and gave the crew their first major piece of silverware since 2006.

Troy Lee Designs / Seaspan / PPG / Honda rider Jake Moss will join the supercross fray this weekend in Anaheim. The colorful Australian rider broke his back in a practice crash in November and was not expected to be back on a motorcycle anytime soon. Despite the severe nature of the injury, Jake was determined to get back on the race track as soon as possible. Through a stringent rehabilitation program, and genuine grit, Jake has gotten himself healthy and ready to go.

We mow through cleaning sprays like tear-offs in a slime race. Because of this we use the path of least resistance and purchase Home Depot cleaners simply based on their price. When three bottles of Muc-Off showed up they got tossed into the “another gimmick that’ll bleed the wallet” category. Our tune changed drastically with one trigger pull.
