BEN TOWNLEY CONFIRMED TO RACE US GRAND PRIX AT GLEN HELEN RACEWAY
US Grand Prix - San Bernardino, CA
Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda rider Ben Townley has confirmed that he will line up for the GP at Glen Helen just one week away. The former world champion and 250 supercross champion counts many of the GP riders and regulars as good friends. Ben spent the first part of his professional career touring the GP circuits before heading to America to chase AMA championships.
“I love the GP’s,” Ben explained enthusiastically. “Some of my best friends are over there racing that series and I was really looking forward to competing in the first few rounds this year. Unfortunately that didn’t work out but I was pumped when I heard that they were bringing a round to America. I really enjoy the track at Glen Helen and I knew straight away that I was going to race it if I felt like I was ready. I’m really looking forward to it.”
